I think this movie's reault is not very good and it will be a little sad. I hope Bob and Charlotte can be together, but they devided. I think it's a pity in this movie. I also think this movie is a successful movie because it has many things we can think about. For example, why didn't Bob stay in the Japan? Did Charlotte love Bob? What did Bob tell Charlotte at the end? All of these questions we can think. There don't have the answer, the correct answer in our mind is different. I think this movie is good and worth to watch. I hope a lot of the people can watch this movie.

Relation to Case Study

In the case study from Unit 12, we know that all of them are in the foreign country. They felt lonely and uncomfortable. They cannot speak the foreign language. Dita did not like live in the United States, she wanted to go back to her country. Bob also had this problem and he wanted to finish the advertisement quickly and he did not want to stay in Japan anymore. He felt it was very bad and stupid. Dita and Bob have the same situation and at the end both of them went back to their country.

summary

Bob was a movie star that from USA. He went to Japan to filming a commercial. Charlotte was a woman who followed with her husband to Japan to work. Bob did not like to film this commercial. He did not want to stay in Japan anymore. Charlotte also did not like Japan because after her husband went to work, she just can stay at home and she did not know where she can go. She felt very lonely. Once Charlotte went to the bar, Bob also went to that bar, so they met each other in the bar and they knew each other. Then they became friends. They talked to each other everything,but if Bob finished his work, he will go. At last they did not get together, they devided. Bob went to the USA and Charlotte lived in Japan. They went back to their own life.

Reaction to the debate

The best solution is: She should find some Indonesian students like suphomore or junior ask them for help.
I do not think this is the best solution to the Dita because she can choose the better one. I think make friends with international students is better than it. First, if she ask questions relate on her situation to the Indonesian students, they will not know the answer. Because they never have the experience study in a foreign country. They can not help her. Second, she just can talk them use English because they only can speak English. If she make friends with international students, she will learn another language. She can learn more if she make friends with international students. Third, if she talks with Indonesian students, she will feel nervous because she does not have the perfect English, but if she make friends with international students, she can speak every ways that she wants because they have the same situation. These three reasons help us know that ask the Indonesian students for help was not a best solution to Dita. If she make friends with the international students, she will be better than now.

The main problem

I think the main problem is that Dita didn't insist.

three possible solution:

1. talk to the friends about her problem, maybe they will give some suggestions to her

advantage: can think if she can use or not

disadvantage: the suggestion is useless

2. readjust her psychology

advantage: she know what she wants, she can help herself very well

disadvantage: if she wants to give up, nobody can stop it

3. her parents can talk with her and help her

advantage: her parents can stay with her togather and take care of her

disadvantage: if she felt against, her problem will be more and more bigger

I like the second one because I think if we want to do something successful, we must depends on ourselves. After we graduate from the university, we will have the job. Everthing in our life should be sloved by ourselves. We can't depend on other people at that time. I think we should practise now if we don't want be a loser in the future.
